No.3 (2019) is the third instrument I built for the light instrument series. In this work, The invisible contact between laser and solar panels creates the hidden strings for me to interact with and create sounds. Laser modules are programed to beat in different patterns to the solar panels, and by connecting the solar panels to a speaker, the beating patterns can be heard.
By moving materials that has various of degree of transparency, laser beams pass through the materials in patterns/pulse and received by the solar panels.
